Overview

The Workflow Connector integrates Relyance AI with Slack, enabling collaboration and automatic syncing of workflows across both platforms. This ensures that assessments, tasks, and insights stay in sync, reducing manual updates and potential miscommunication across teams. By pushing Relyance AI workflows into Slack, users can work faster and more efficiently while meeting other teams in the tools they already use, like Slack.

Follow these steps to set up the integration.

  1. Select Slack Locate the Slack integration in the Workflow Connectors page, marked with the Slack logo and description. You can also view the number of existing Slack connections.

  2. Configure the Connection Click the Slack tile to open the list of connectors. Each connector shows its Connection Status (e.g., Connected, Disabled).

    1. Add a New Slack Connector

Click Add Workflow Connector in the top-right corner, enter a name for the connector (e.g., "Slack Connector 1"), and click OK.

  1. Authentication Choose an authentication method. We currently support OAuth2. Click Authenticate. You will be redirected to a Slack site that gives the Slack Workflow Connector access to your current workspace. This workspace can be changed by clicking the dropdown menu in the top right of this screen. Once you’ve allowed the Slack Workflow Connector permission into your workspace, then you can select how you can send notifications from Relyance AI to Slack. You’ll be able to set whether or not you want to notify users of: Mentions in: Insights, Tasks, Assessments, and Data Subject Requests Being Assigned: Insights, Tasks, Assessments, and Data Subject Requests You’ll also be able to set which Slack channel in your workspace these notifications will be sent. This is an example where every type of notification is allowed, and the Slack channel has been changed to “support-team.” Once the notification preferences are set, then press Continue. Now, you’ll be able to see how the Slack Workflow Connector has been configured. Press Finish once these settings are set to your preference.
