Zoom

Zoom is a cloud-based video and audio conferencing platform. It allows you to set up virtual video and audio conferencing, one-to-one chat sessions, webinars, live chats, screen-sharing, and other collaborative capabilities.

Zoom can be connected with Relyance AI using either:

• Server-to-Server OAuth (Recommended)
• OAuth2 / App Token

Which method to choose

Both are listed above; the difference that matters later is what holds the authorisation:

A Server-to-Server app also keeps the connection independent of any one person's Zoom account remaining active, which is the usual reason a working Zoom connection stops.

Creating Server-to Server App in Zoom

1. Login to your Zoom account.
2. On the side menu expand the Admin section and click Advanced and then App MarketPlace.
3. In the top right corner click on the Develop dropdown and select Build App. Note: If you've already created an app then click on the Manage link beside the drop-down.
4. Choose Server-to-Server OAuth App in the resulting dialog and click Create.
5. Provide a meaningful name as the App Name (e.g. Relyance Scan).
6. Copy the Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret to be used in Relyance.
7. In the OAuth Information section, fill in the fields - Short Description, Company Name, Developer Contact information (these fields are mandatory to activate the app) ,and click Continue
8. Click Scopes from the left-hand navigation menu.
9. Click on the Add Scopes button.
10. When creating your app, if you don't see the expected scopes in the Zoom Marketplace:

• Confirm your user role has access to all licenses within Zoom Enterprise.
  • If scopes remain unavailable, it's probable your enterprise version doesn't have the appropriate licensing.

12. Click Done.
13. Click Continue to proceed in the wizard.
14. Click on Activate App to proceed with the activation of the app

In the Relyance AI application:

1. Login to your Relyance tenant
2. Navigate to the Settings (bottom-left corner)
3. Select Integrations
4. Search and locate the Zoom integration card and click on it
5. Click on the Add Connection button on the top right
6. Provide a meaningful name for the integration and click on the Add button
7. In the Overview section, select the integration features you wish to enable for the integration (Data Inspection, Data Subject Requests), review the Scope and Permission, and Endpoint details and click on Continue. For More details seeIntegrations Features
8. In the Connection section, provide the appropriate values and click on Continue,
   • Connection Name: This property allows you to update the integration specified in Step 6. If you have multiple integrations for the same vendor, you may want to assign distinct names to each. This helps streamline filtering by Discovery Source across the Inventory, Visual Maps, Assets, and Data Flow Analysis pages.
   • Rescan Frequency: This property allows you to configure how often Relyance executes scans against this Vendor connection.
   • Business Atlas Associations (required): the business entities or products that newly discovered third parties, services and assets from this integration are attributed to. Choose at least one from the Select Associations dropdown — the wizard will not advance past this step without one. For more details, see Business Atlas.
9. In the Authentication section, provide the Account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret into their respective fields
10. If the Data Inspection check box is checked from step 7, In the Data Inspection section, provide the appropriate values and click on Continue
    • Minimum Confidence Level: This property adjusts the sensitivity of the Data Inspection feature. Lower likelihoods (e.g., unlikely) offer more coverage but may produce false positives, while higher sensitivity (e.g., very likely) provides greater accuracy but less coverage.
11. Review the configuration summary from the Completion section and click on Finish.
12. Confirm the integration Status reflects Connected

Creating an OAuth2 App in Zoom:

1. Login to your Zoom account.
2. On the side menu click Advanced and then App MarketPlace.
3. In the top right corner click on the Develop dropdown and select Build App.

Note: If you've already created an app then click on the Manage link beside the drop-down. 4. Choose General App in the resulting dialog and click Create. 5. This will open up a new App. Provide a meaningful name in the top left-hand corner (e.g. Relyance Scan). 6. Ensure the manage type is Admin-managed and click on Save. 7. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret to be used in Relyance. 8. In the OAuth Information section, enter this value into the OAuth Redirect URL: https://root.relyance.ai/api/oauth2 9. Below this, ensure you add this URL to the OAuth Allow Lists: https://root.relyance.ai/api/oauth2 10. Click Scopes from the left-hand navigation menu. 11. Click on the Add Scopes button 12. In the Relyance AI application:

Manage this integration with Terraform

Connections for this integration can be managed as code with the Relyance Terraform provider. Non-secret fields go in auth.params; secret fields go in auth.secrets_wo, which is write-only — never stored in Terraform state. Rotate secrets by bumping auth.secrets_wo_version.

OAuth (browser authorization)

The OAuth (browser authorization) method uses a browser authorization flow, so the connection is created in the Relyance app. Manage it in Terraform afterwards by importing it (terraform import relyance_integration_connection.example zoom/<connection_id>) or reading it with the relyance_integration_connection data source.
